Welcome to South Texas Mind & Wellness. Our mission is to provide quality mental health care under the philosophy of 'Caring Minds, Brighter Futures.' These guidelines help ensure a respectful, safe, and efficient environment for all of our patients.

Visit Policy and Cancellations

To ensure we remain available for every patient, we require 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or schedule changes. Please be aware that a $100 fee applies to no-shows and cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice. We value your progress and ask for consistent attendance, while also requesting kind and respectful conduct during all interactions. To protect our staff and other patients, disruptive behavior may result in practice discharge. Please arrive five minutes early to your session, whether in-person or via our secure telehealth platform, to ensure we can start your care on time. We truly appreciate your cooperation.

Billing, Care and Telehealth

Payment for services, including co-pays and deductibles, is due at the time of your visit. We accept various insurance plans, but it is your responsibility to verify coverage with your provider before your first session. For our telehealth services, you must be located within the state of Texas during your appointment and utilize a private, secure internet connection. By using our website and portal, you agree to protect your login credentials. We reserve the right to update these terms as needed to better serve our patients and comply with healthcare regulations. South Texas Mind & Wellness is not an emergency service and cannot provide immediate crisis intervention through this website, patient portal, email, or voicemail. In the event of an emergency or immediate safety concern, please call 911 or your local emergency number, or proceed to the nearest emergency room immediately.
